Medical Equipment Replacement Program - AIMMC

As a result of the assessment of all the major medical equipment, the team at AIMMC identified three major medical equipment replacements for this facility.

CATH/EP Lab #2 Equipment Replacement: The project includes the replacement of existing fixed CATH equipment with a new fixed CATH/EP unit, including new software. The general construction work will include separating the existing dual lab control room between CATH Labs 1 and 2; this will increase the footprint of the Lab to accommodate the new control station. The new control station will be constructed with a half-height wall and leaded glass window with access on either side into the room.

CT Replacement – Radiology Department: The project includes the replacement of an existing 16 slice CT Scanner with a new 160 slice low does CT Scanner. The general construction work will include new flooring, wall finishes, cabinetry, and ceilings in the CT Room.

SPECT/CT Replacement – Nuclear Medicine Department: The project includes the replacement of an existing CAT Scan with anew SPECT/CT Scanner. The general work will include new flooring, wall finishes, cabinetry, and ceilings in the CT Room.
